Mediate BC undertakes applied research and innovative service delivery projects to guide conflict resolution policy and practice. We focus on community partnerships to identify areas of need, develop projects, and build sustainable practices. Our research and service delivery projects aim to advance reconciliation, improve access to justice, and increase reflective use of collaborative decision-making processes.
Reflective conflict resolution practice and community engagement are essential elements of Mediate BC’s vision of transforming approaches to conflict. As a result, Mediate BC supports continuing professional development, community-building, and knowledge sharing through workshops, speaker events, and conferences aimed at the conflict resolution community.
