(she/her)
Dr. Raj Dhasi is the President of Turning Point Resolutions Inc. and a conflict resolution practitioner with more than 30 years of experience helping organizations and communities navigate complex and high-stakes conflict. Raj’s work spans mediation, assessments, investigations, facilitation, leadership and communication coaching, training, and restorative processes. She has worked extensively with public, private, non-profit, educational, healthcare, government, and community-based organizations.
Raj’s approach is relational, practical, and grounded in the realities within which conflict occurs. She considers the legal and legislative context alongside the human dynamics at play, helping people make sense of what is happening beneath the surface, see what may not be obvious, and address what may be difficult or uncomfortable to acknowledge. Her work supports clients in moving through difficult circumstances with greater clarity and calm, while strengthening relationships and collective capacity.
Raj is a faculty member with the Justice Institute of British Columbia’s Centre for Conflict Resolution. She holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Conflict Analysis and Management and a Doctorate in Social Sciences, with doctoral work focused on intimate partner violence, resilience, and brain health in the aftermath of trauma.
Raj is particularly interested in the conditions that allow conflict to take hold, persist, and escalate, what those conditions reveal about people, relationships, and systems, and how those insights can be used to create meaningful and sustainable change.
