The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Committee advises on the organization’s commitment to expanding equity, diversity, and inclusion principles within all its work. The Committee supports initiatives aimed at identifying and addressing barriers to roster inclusion, providing professional development for roster mediators, and ensuring accessibility of conflict resolution services to all populations. As well, the EDI Committee guides the organization on its internal commitments to support staff and Board learning.
The EDI Committee is comprised of Board members, staff, roster mediators, and community members.

With the support of a Multiculturalism and Anti-Racism Grant from the Province of BC, the EDI Committee is hosting a free series of online, professional development events for mediators and other conflict resolution professionals. Participation in these sessions qualifies for mandatory EDI hours that all Roster mediators meet annually.
