Collaborative Decision-Making Options in Child Welfare Workshops

Collaborative Decision-Making options are out-of-court processes that encourage families to share their voices in decision-making about child welfare matters.

In this workshop, you will learn more about what Collaborative Decision-Making Processes are, how your clients can access them, and how these processes can be tailored to meet your clients’ needs. You will also have the opportunity to ask our team any questions about Collaborative Decision-Making Processes, discuss issues you’ve faced accessing or engaging with these processes, and connect with other service providers working in child welfare.

Workshops are regularly scheduled across British Columbia and hosted online. We may be able to deliver this workshop to your organization. Please contact us for more details.

Ask a Mediator Clinic

Mediate BC receives many calls every week from members of the public who want to understand how mediation works, how to select a mediator, how to ask another person to mediate, and many more questions about how to access the tools to solve their problems collaboratively. We have free online clinics where you can have your questions answered directly by a Registered Roster Mediator (RRM) and discuss your specific circumstances with them.
