Judge McQueen sits on the Provincial Court of British Columbia, where she is a member of the Court’s Family Law Committee. She is the Provincial Court representative on the Board of Directors of Mediate BC.
Judge McQueen began practicing law in 1995, initially working in family and civil litigation before specializing in family law in 2005. Prior to her appointment to the Court, she was accredited as a family law mediator by the Law Society of British Columbia, and regularly participated in mediations as both counsel and mediator. Judge McQueen was previously an elected Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia, was active in the provision of pro bono legal services, including through AC Friends of Court, and involved in a variety of other community volunteer activities.
