2016 Conflict Resolution Week Events

Attorney General and Minister of Justice Suzanne Anton, on behalf of the Government of British Columbia, has proclaimed November 19 - 26, 2016 as Conflict Resolution Week in B.C. Mediate BC Roster mediators will host events in communities across British Columbia to increase the awareness and benefits of healthy conflict resolution and encourage the use of mediation.

Details: Join us during Conflict Resolution Week for a free, half day workshop presented by Mediate BC and JIBC. Our keynote speaker Kent Highnam will discuss conflict and how it is one of the most frequent, yet challenging forms of social interaction.  The second half of the morning will include a panel made up of different organizations involved in the dispute resolution field. These organizations will include the Civil Resolution Tribunal, Abbotsford Restorative Justice and Advocacy Association, Family Justice Service Division, British Columbia Arbitration and Mediation Institute (BCAMI), WorksafeBC, and the Native Education Centre.
