Becoming a Lead Mediator

Family Mediation Mentorship Opportunities

The Family Mediation Program (FMP) provides highly qualified mediators (Associate Mediators) with an opportunity to gain practical experience by co-mediating cases with highly experienced mentors (Lead Mediators) in their region in a wide variety of family disputes including parenting responsibilities, child support and property division.

Lead Mediators are chosen based on their passion and skill in both mediation and mentoring.  They have the rewarding role of mentoring Associate Mediators as they work together as a Mediation Team, usually with the Lead Mediator’s own clients.
