Child Protection Roster Admission

Mediators on British Columbia’s Child Protection Mediation Program (CPMP) Roster mediate disputes relating to a child or plan of care for a child pursuant to section 22 of the Child, Family and Community Services Act (CFCSA)

While the CPMP Roster is affiliated with Mediate BC, by way of posting the directory on its website, the Society is not responsible for admission to the Roster.  The Child Protection Mediation Program, Ministry of Justice (formerly the Ministry of Attorney General), in collaboration with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, manages this Roster and sets the qualification standards which mediators must meet to offer these mediation services on a contract basis.

Assignment to this Roster entails successful participation in a selection process and other requirements. Detailed information about CPMP mediator qualifications and the selection process is available on the following website: http://www.ag.gov.bc.ca/child-protection-mediation/index.htm.
